Plain-language terms for working with StudioSwift: how pro bono builds, weekly subscriptions, ownership and support work.

1Overview

These Terms of Service govern your use of StudioSwift services, websites, software, and related products. By starting a project with StudioSwift or using software provided by StudioSwift, you agree to these terms.

2Pro Bono Build Model

StudioSwift may design and build software for you on a pro bono basis before any subscription begins. A pro bono build does not guarantee ongoing access, exclusivity, transfer of intellectual property, or continued support unless agreed separately in writing.

3Weekly Subscription

If you choose to use the completed software, StudioSwift may charge a weekly subscription fee. The subscription can cover access, hosting support, maintenance, updates, improvements, and ongoing product iteration.

4Project Scope

Project scope, features, timelines, integrations, and launch requirements are agreed on a project-by-project basis. StudioSwift may prioritise work based on technical risk, business value, and operational feasibility.

5Payments and Cancellation

Subscription fees are payable according to the agreed billing schedule. You may cancel according to the cancellation terms agreed for your project. Access to hosted software, maintenance, and ongoing improvements may end when a subscription is cancelled.

6Ownership and Licence

Unless agreed otherwise in writing, StudioSwift retains ownership of reusable systems, frameworks, templates, infrastructure, and underlying intellectual property used to deliver software. You receive a licence to use the delivered software while your subscription remains active.

7Acceptable Use

You agree not to misuse StudioSwift software, interfere with its operation, attempt unauthorised access, upload unlawful content, or use the software in a way that breaches applicable laws or third-party rights.

8Availability and Changes

StudioSwift aims to provide reliable software and support, but availability may be affected by maintenance, third-party services, infrastructure issues, or changes required to improve or protect the product.

9Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, StudioSwift is not liable for indirect loss, lost profits, lost data, business interruption, or consequential damage arising from use of its services or software.
